Dhanya Vad Kritajna Hum

from 60 and Bust by Karambir Singh Khalsa

/

about

This song is a combination of two Hindu mantras: Dhanya Vad (I feel gratitude) and Kritajna Hum (I am grateful). Apologies if my translations are erroneous. In any case, I wanted to align myself with the attitude of gratitude and these two mantras together seemed to flow rather nicely. I recorded this using my used Ovation Celebrity guitar, a Yeti Pro mic for vocals and a Zoom H4N Pro for the guitar. I ran the mics through a ProFx mixer and sent the mix to my MacBook Pro via USB. Final mix was done using GarageBand.
