about

This track is a collection of recordings made around the time I turned 60. I moved to Flagstaff, Arizona shortly thereafter. The first few months were uncertain and I did not have a fixed home. I had worked hard to complete a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, pass the licensing exam, and get licensed as a Psychologist after which I expected success would follow in short order. Unfortunately, that was not the case. My 60th year was filled with feelings of frustration, sadness, and humiliation. To borrow a quote from the movie, This is Where I Leave You", I'm too old to have this much nothing. On the other hand, if I had achieved success any sooner, I may never have released this album. I hope you find something in it that is worth listening to.
