This album manifested over a period of months during which I was homeless and living out of my car and a storage unit while completing doctoral studies in clinical psychology. It was a time where I was experiencing a lot of "I can't possibly do this" kind of energy. This album was one of the places in my life where I felt the "Yes I can" energy beginning to break through.
